SA 2000 DOUBLE LANE SACHET MACHINE

1. GENERAL
The machine consists of two completely independent units that can be operated
separately but are intended to run together synchronized to deliver sachets to
suit an automatic crating system which can be supplied separately. The machines
are robustly constructed in stainless steel and their production reliability has
been well developed over the years.
2. PRODUCTION
The machine can be set to run at 86 units per minute. Although the most
advanced known sealing system is used the polyethylene used plays a major role
in determining the optimal speed for the machine.
If the machine is supplied with a variable speed system it can be set to suit
production and quality needs.
3. DESCRIPTION
The machine has a mechanical unwind system and the horizontal sealing system
is the new broad spectrum seal which makes sealing less critical and
accommodating of variances in the plastic. The cabinet is constructed in
stainless steel as are most of the components. The machine has a single filling
tank and basically individual sachet sealing and forming systems similar to that
of the SA 2000. Both sides run synchronously but either side can be operated
individually and each side is capable of producing any size of sachet from 250
ml to 1 liter.
The electrical control system of the machine is mainly through a timing
switch system which has been found to be most reliable for this type of machine.
The machine has been designed to be durable for long periods of high production
with a minimum of maintenance.
The upgraded model also has the following characteristics:
a) Sealing
The horizontal seal system will have automatic teflon changing to ensure
longer and more reliable production runs with better sealing.
b) Hygienic Aspects
The fill rod entry to the fill tube could have a sterile environment and a
hot water set could be on the machine to sterilize the outside of the filling
tube and double ultra violet film sterilization sheeting would be supplied. The
film will pass through filtered air after sterilization.
c) Speed of Operation
The machine will be set to run at 2 500 units per head per hour and the roll
changing system will enable a minimum of downtime with the heat splicing system.
d) Safety
The machine’s safety system does not allow operators to get into the front
or back of the machine without it being completely isolated.
e) Sachet length change and change to registered print by the flick of a
switch.
f) Date Coding:
Hot foil system.
